New Toy

I recently purchased my new toy, the Canon EOS Rebel T3i. It took me a little bit to figure out how to actually take a picture, but once I conquered that quest, I've been obsessively taking pictures. Amazingly enough, I was able to drag Tyler out of bed last Saturday morning {and by morning I mean 11am} for the season opening of Broad Ripple Farmer's Market. It was the perfect place to test out my new toy, while chatting up local vendors, sampling flavorful cheeses, and just enjoying each other's company. Below are just a few pictures I thought you may enjoy on this beautiful Thursday morning. This is my first time using a DSLR camera so my photography skills are nowhere near good {or average for that matter}, but here's some snippets from my Saturday {and a little Sunday} before the Cinco de Drinko festivities began. Hope you like them!
{My little bubba bear, Grim. He's actually really camera shy, but I finally got a good one!}
{On our walk to the Farmer's Market}
{Yummy flavored honey sticks - the green apple was my favorite}
{Tyler bought a few herb plants. I told him if he grows it, I will cook it. That's a fair deal, right?}
{Spices in mason jars}
{Three Days in Paris breakfast crepes}
{Green eggs and ham crepe in the making}
{Took a little break to enjoy}
{Indulgent chocolates from Chocolate for the Spirit. We tasted the Mayan Spice Bar and were hooked. The cinnamon, chipotle, and chili spices gave it an interesting kick. The ownerJulie Bolejack, describes it as "a subtle fire for the soul."}
{The boyfriend has a natural green thumb}
{Loved trying to capture this little guy}
{Sunday morning breakfast - I have an unhealthy obsession with breakfast sandwiches}
{Fresh cup of Dunkin' Donuts coffee is a must. Every. Morning. Period.}

Don't forget, today is the last day you can enter the Eversave's Mother's Day Better Together Contest.
